This practice is rooted in the integrative work of Dr. Mary Jo Kreitzer, Director of the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing, at the University of Minnesota, the Seek Wellbeing® Housecalls Practice incorporates the six dimensions of the Wellbeing Model (below) that contribute to well-being. These dimensions take into account our connections and interaction with ourselves and elements outside of ourselves; such as family, friends, communities, as well as our personal and global environment.
If all areas are addressed and balanced, there is greater likelihood well-being is being experienced. Taking small steps toward achieving balance in the six dimensions can be very gratifying and even healing.
Our Intention for patients...
Get them feeling better
Help them learn why they should avoid the Standard American Diet (S.A.D), eliminate as much exposure to the 80,000 environmental toxins in our environment as possible, and develop tools to reverse damage to their cells cause by chronic stress and genetic predisposition that make it easy for them to get sick,
Position their body to trigger its automatic abilities to fight off infectious bacteria so they avoid hospitals and necessity for pills that don't fix your problem, and
Support them in Self Management of their medications and disease process by teaching them all they need to know over a longer period of time.
